Obituary For Veronica “Smiley” Drayton

The Drayton family is sad to announce the passing of a loved one.

Veronica Drayton affectionally known as “Smiley” was born on July 16, 1987 to Gregory Tyler Sr. and Dorothy Ann Drayton in Sylvester Georgia. Veronica attended the Worth County School System where she was a graduate of the Class of 2005. She often attended services at New Vision Worship Center in Sylvester, GA. Veronica was employed at Burger King in Sylvester, GA, where she was a dedicated and hardworking employee. She always greeted her customers with that big, beautiful smile. Veronica was a very devoted mother to her children, despite any obstacles that she faced. She loved traveling and being amongst her family. Family was very important to her. On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and many friends Veronica answered her final call and entered eternal rest. Although she is absent from the body, we know that she is present with the Lord and forever in our hearts. She was proceeded in death by her Grandparents: Willie and Gussie Drayton and Clyde and Florine Tyler and her brother-in-law: Stephen Kendrick. She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy of her life three handsome sons: Frederick McDaniel Jones Jr., Tre’Shaun Ty’kese Jones, and Jayden Key’Darius Jones; Devoted Mother and Father: Gregory Tyler Sr. and Dorothy Ann Drayton; a special Aunt: Vickie Roberts who helped raise her; four sisters: Glenda Roberts of Lake City, Florida, Brenda Kendrick, Tyeisha Drayton and Laniyiah Crapp of Sylvester, GA; two brothers: Gregory Tyler Jr. and Victor Roberts of Long Beach, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends that will miss her dearly
