Shirley, We met only twice at two Family Reunions your Aunt Betty invited me and my daughters to attend. But Betty shared her relationship the two had with me to the point that I am so so saddened to be saying goodbye to this life long virtual interaction (over t three decades of family prayers and celebrations). I know your smile was one gift you gave as you faced the world each day. Your gift of cheer and laughter and ability to encourage and inspire. And I learned that you are a gift to the world as a giving spirit even your work life was one of giving aide and comfort. How gracious of God to limit the time we spend in these clay bodies so we can be free spirits no longer or true gifts rejected or limited. You are free to share your beautiful spirit with each of us now no more being miss understood. Thank you for touching my life through your Aunt Betty and allowing me to be a part of your family, at Mom's house, sharing fellowship and breaking bread and being strengthened to go out and face the world smiling after being home in Sylvester for Family Reunion and vacation. So this is farewell but only for a little while. Our love is eternal -Rev Rose Campbell

With a heavy heart we all will mourn your extinguished physical being, but your beautiful soul will be where we all wish to be...at peace. Shine bright Shirley...The world lost a beautiful smile, but gained a another shining star to glow over us. Love Roger

Shirley, I have fond memories of your laugh and sense of humor. I pray that until we meet again, you are in heaven telling some good stories. In the mean time you will truly be missed. Love, Cousin Victoria Carey Max and family

During sunset of your life, I take comfort from my appreciation to be apart of it. I wish I had more memories to build with you, especially as I begin this next chapter in my life. However, I'll keep moving forward knowing that my family will continue to grow stronger in honor of the memory of you. Rest In Paradise Shirley, for with the Lord's peace, you are rich indeed.

Goodbye Shirley. I am thankful that God was your comforter during your illness and that you are now in Heaven. I will not forget the memories of growing up together on the farm. The memories I have of you will not fade. You were one of the bright lights at every family gathering. I can still hear the shouts of Shirley Ann or Shirley, as you entered the room, always with that big smile or goofy grin, and most of all that loud laugh that was uniquely yours. Your sense of humor made everyone laugh out loud. Life hits us all sideways sometimes and you were not spared. I am glad that you were amongst those who always try to make the most of life, looking forward and not backwards and never giving up. God allows the best in us to shine and amongst your best was your sense of humor and laughter. You will be missed Shirley Ann. Always my Love and God Be with You. Rest in Peace Love Aunt Betty
