  For My Caring Cousin Marie God saw you getting weary, And He gently called you home. Though our hearts were not ready, He knew you would not walk alone. You were more than just my cousin— You were kindness wrapped in grace, A steady hand, a listening ear, A warm and loving embrace. In every room your light would shine, In every heart you left your mark. You had a way of lifting spirits Even in the very dark. Though Heaven holds you in its care, And angels walk where you now stand, Your love remains a guiding light Still reaching for my hand. I thank God for the time we shared, For every smile, each memory given. Though I miss you deeply here on earth, I rejoice you rest in Heaven.
