Hakeem, you will forever be in my heart and were taken too soon. I had the privilege of spending the school year as your teacher. As a new teacher that year, your kind soul taught me to prioritize encouraging my students. You showed me it was important to motivate students, and this has become a priceless lesson. Also, to make extra copies of assignments because students aren't always naturally organized. Caroline wants you to know she will never forget being a good friend to her through elementary, middle, and high school, and appreciates your friendship.
