The Williams Family is sad to announce the passing of their loved one.

Carolyn Lavonne Williams, the fourth of five children, was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D. and Louise Williams on March 7, 1957 in Sylvester, Georgia. Carolyn received her formal education in the Worth County Public School System and graduated from Worth County High School in 1975. Immediately after graduating, Carolyn relocated to Atlanta where she resided the past 45 years. She decided to pursue a career in the hospitality industry where she provided housekeeping services to many hotel chains in downtown Atlanta.

On Monday, January 4, 2021, Carolyn transitioned from this life to her eternal life. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother, Eddie Lee Williams, her sister, Brenda Faye Williams and her two sons, Rico R. Williams and Willie H. Wilson III.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her loving memories; her partner of 30 years, Prather “Jerome” Abrams of Atlanta, Georgia; her daughter, Tanjanette Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; 7 grandchildren, Rico R. Williams Jr., Rodriquis Williams, Tarrica Williams, Mytanial Williams, Deondre Wilson, Demaya Wilson, and Willie H. Wilson IV; 3 great grandchildren, Jamal, Xion, and Xariah; her siblings, Donna Williams of Sylvester, Georgia, and James Williams of Albany, Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
