The Hudson Family is sad to announce the passing of a loved one.

Carolyn Hudson was born in Sylvester, Georgia on June 8, 1949 to Eddie Lee and Mollie Smith.

Carolyn was educated in the Worth County School system, graduating high school in 1967 from J.W. Holley and later received an accounting degree from Moultrie Technical College. She worked at JP Stevens as a machine operator and bus driver for the Worth County Board of Education. She was a dedicated member of Mt.Zion Baptist Church in Poulan, Georgia, where she actively served as an usher and church Secretary until her health declined. Carolyn was a faithful member of the distinguished Women of Distinction.

On May 26, 2019, God’s Angels escorted Carolyn home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Lee and Mollie Smith Hudson and her siblings, Flora Smith, Homer Hudson, Thelma Smith, Thomas Hudson and Minnie Lee.

Her love and precious memories will forever be cherished by her loving family. Her son: Derrick Chambers; Grandchildren: Jordan Chambers, Tarnisha Thomas, Charmagne Thomas; GreatGrandchildren: Reagan Ross and Logan Ross. Siblings: Wallace Hudson,(Pahokee, FL) Eddie M.Moore, (Sylvester, GA), Bobbie J. Williams, (Tifton, GA); special niece, Shabreka Carter, and a host of nieces and nephews.
