Obituary For Willie Frank Wiley
The Wiley Family is sad to announce the passing of their loved one.
Willie Frank, at an early age, joined Macedonia Baptist Church. Where he attended until he enlisted in the Army. He joined in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Lena Jackson on February 8, 2000.
He joined the Army on November 15, 1964 and he trained for service in St. Louis, Missouri. He served in the Vietnam War from 1966-1968 where he received a National Defense Medal, a Bronze Star, a Purple Heart, Infantry Medal and an Airman’s Medal. His career in the Army ended in 1974 where he was honorably discharged.
Willie Frank transitioned from this realm on August 10, 2020 at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Wiley Green & Tommie Mae Wiley, a brother, Jimmy Lee Wiley Sr., two Sisters, Mildred (Willie) Wiley Williams and Willa Jean (Ernest) Wiley Thomas.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his living wife, Lena Jackson Wiley, two daughters from a previous marriage, Zatambra Wiley (Gil) Jones and Valarie Wiley; a sister Laura Wiley Snow and a brother, Robert (Carrol) Wiley; six grandchildren, Sheena Jones, Gil Jones, Jr., Brandon Jones, Alexander Jones, Jamiya Brockington and Kaleel McDonald, and one great granddaughter, Ariyan Grady; and a hosts of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
