Obituary For Thelma Frier

The Frier family is sad to announce the passing of a loved one.

Mrs. Thelma Jackson Frier better known as “Beanie” was born in Sylvester, Georgia on October 22, 1943, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Will and Annie Mae Jackson.

Beanie gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined Macedonia Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Moses Frier and to this union they were blessed with six children.

Beanie attended Shingler Elementary in Shingler, GA. She sought to instill in her children a zest for life, a commitment to family and friends, and the power of a smile. As a pillar of the community, Beanie dedicated most her adult life taking care of her grands and great grands, countless family members, friends and anyone who needed help.

Beanie was peacefully called home to rest on June 5, 2019 at Phoebe Worth Hospital in Sylvester, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Charlie Will Jackson and Mrs. Annie Mae Jackson; 3 daughters: Donna Frier, Kate Frier and Caro Frier; 2 sons: Gregory Frier and Michal Frier; 1 sister, Bessie Mae Miller; 4 brothers: Johnny Jackson, William Jackson, Benny Joe Jackson and Maurice Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving children: 2 daughters: Patricia Davis, Betty Jackson; 3 sons: Roy (Jennifer) Jackson, Shelton Frier, and Zachery Frier; 18 grandchildren: Shawnta Green, Jermaine Frier, Brittney Rutland, Shamia Malachi, Thomas Ausby, Sierra Ausby, Shelton Frier Jr., Patrick Frier, Travis Jackson, Zackery Frier Jr, Clayton Jackson, Keshawn Jackson, Eric Jackson, Roy Jackson Jr., Natashia McKinney, Rockell Green, Shaunta Thomas and Shaterica Barber; 32 great grands, 1 great-great grand, 3 sisters: Annie Ruth. Jackson, Mary (Lee) Butler and Frances Jackson; 3 brothers: Charlie Jackson, Robert (Florine)Jackson and Ulysee (Linda) Jackson; 1 aunt: Charlie Mae Myers; 1 godson: Desmond Hope and 1 granddaughter-in-law: Keshia Jones, stepdaughter Eloise Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
