The Durham family is sad to announce the passing of a loved one.

Ronald Bernard Durham was born on January 31, 1962 to the late Icie Lee Durham in Albany, GA. Ronald, affectionately known to family as “Ronnie”, grew up along with his sisters and reared by his mother and grandparents (the late Ira and Henrietta Grier Durham). Ronald attended school in Dougherty County and graduated from Dougherty Comprehensive High School in 1980. At an early age, Ronald joined the Mt. Early Missionary Baptist Church. As a member, he served in the Young Adult Choir, Senior Choir, and the Male Chorus for a number of years. He was passionate about music. He loved to sing and wrote many songs of his own. Throughout his life, Ronald made his own path and traveled it, but he always made his way home. He cherished his family and friends. Ronald will be remembered not only as the exceptional dresser, but for his golden smile. On December 9, 2018, the Lord called Ronald to his eternal home to rest. He leaves to cherish his golden smile and sweet memories his sisters, Mrs. Kathy Williams and Ms. Tashera Durham; two nephews, Mr. Danny Lee Williams Jr. and Danny Lee Williams III; an aunt, Mrs. Ardie Dee Watkins; and an uncle, Mr. Isaac (Ira) Watkins. He also leaves a devoted friend, Ms. LaArta Cameron and a host of relatives and friends who will deeply miss him.
