The McWhorter family is sad to announce the passing of a loved one.

Neomia McWhorter was born July 14, 1973 to Mary and William Collier in Sylvester, Georgia. Neomia attended school in the Dougherty County School System. She often attended Victory Crossing service in Albany, Georgia She worked at Phoebe Worth Medical Center. She loved her job. Neomia loved being around her family and grandchildren. She also loved talking with her best friend Cynthia Hopkins-Grant. On Saturday, October 19, 2019 Neomia was called home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her sister: Casynthia McWhorter and her niece: Shardasia Billington. She leaves to cherish her memories one son: William McWhorter; her parents: Mary and William Collier grandchildren: Bralynn McWhorter, Zamara McWhorter and Elijah McWhorter; one nephew: Martavis McWhorter; a great niece: Kailyn Elise McWhorter; a great nephew: Martavis McWhorter Jr.; her best friend: Cynthia Hopkins-Grant; a special friend: Kenneth Mosley and a host of loving aunts, unlces, cousins and sorrowing friends who love her dearly.
