The Smith Family is sad to announce the passing of a loved one.

“Bear”, as he was lovingly called by family and friends, was born July 16, 1959 to the late Gladys Alford-Smith and Pleamon Johnson in Sylvester, Ga.

He was educated in the worth county school system. After high school h began working in mobile home plants as a roofer, laborer, and floor installer.

When “Bear” wasn’t around family and friends laughing and carrying on, he spent his alone time watching old westerns and black and white movies.

“Bear” was preceded in death by four brothers; Willie, Willie Terry, Wendell and James Smith.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory eight sisters; Alfreda (Dino) Dean of Baltimore, MD, Georgia (Leo) Williams, Shirley (Eddie) Heard, Suzanne (Melvin) Jackson, Renell Jackson, Donnell Smith, Annie Smith and Eva Smith all of Sylvester, Ga, four brothers; Elzie Smith II of Clearwater, Fl, Johnnie Mack (Annie) Smith of Albany, Ga Larry (Linda) Johnson of Sylvester, Ga, Charles (Sharon) Cross of Sanford, Fl, and a host of many other relatives and friends.
