Obituary For Deloris Harden Brown
The Harden and Brown families are sad to announce the passing of a loved one.
Deloris Harden Brown was born in Sale City, GA on April 19, 1947. She is the daughter of the late Ruther Lee Thomas and Eddie Harden Jr. She had the opportunity of having a loving stepfather for many years, Deacon Willie Thomas. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined 1st Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Deloris served 1st Mount Olive for many years as a faithful member. Due to health changes, she moved her membership to Mount Early Missionary Baptist Church. Deloris attended Monroe High School and became a “Golden Tornado” in the 1960s. My “Po” Brown Suga, My “Toot” Lola Bell, My “Mike” Sweetie, My “Rod” Lois, and Our “Trey and Malika” Best Friend Friend…. She was a very kindhearted and gentle person. She was friendly and very talkative. Nobody was a stranger to her. Spending time with family was especially important to her. Deloris Harden Brown passed away on November 28, 2020, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, and one brother, Ronnie Harden. She leaves to cherish her loving memories two daughters, Theresa Brown and Zipora White both of Albany, GA; two sons David Clay of Atlanta, GA and Antwan Clay of Kingsland, GA; two grandchildren Montravious White of Atlanta, GA and Malika White of Albany, GA; three brothers, James (Deloris) Harden of Albany, GA, Hugh(Gail) Harden of Bryon, GA, Kenneth (Lisa) Redd of Atlanta, GA; one sister Gail Middlebrook of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
