The Lewis family is sad to announce the passing of their loved one.

Mr. Abraham Lewis better known as “Pops” was born February 15, 1931, to Moses and Lula Lewis. “Pops” was educated in the Terrell County School System. Before illness onset, he loved to cook, work in production, and fish. On August 19, 2020, God saw that “Pops” was growing weary and called him home. He was preceded in death by his wife, both parents, one daughter, three grandchildren, six brothers, four sisters, and a very special friend. Abraham leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters: Terry Lewis and Lula Lewis both of Dawson, Ga; two brothers: Give (Alma) Green and Ozzie Lewis both of Saint Simons Island, Ga; three sisters: Lillie (Earnest) Butts and Dora (Ben) Johnson of Brunswick, Ga, and Mary (George)Henderson of Stone Mountain, Ga; a special grandson: Johnny Cobb, 18 grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
